About Fadal 1400 Series CPU Board

The 1400-1 was the original CPU, and it’s quite rare. If you face issues with the card that you have at the moment, you can reach out to us so we can help you out! 

1400-2 served as the main CPU for many years in Fadal CNC machines. It can fit in any of the first 5 slots, but we suggest everyone go with slot 5, it’s the best option. It has a Program Module (1610-0) that provides the CPU's operating code. For extra memory, you could add memory expansion boards (1460-1) in slots 1 to 4. Each board has 128K, and you could add up to three for a total of 422K.

1400-4 was used for years and fits in slot 5 due to the processor bus board connecting the Computer Interface Board (1030), Video Graphics Board (1420-4), and CPU. It uses Video Graphics for video and graphics, along with Program Module (1610-1) and Expanded Memory Boards in slots J4-J5 for up to 422K of expanded memory.

The last one on our list is the 1400-5 board. It is the best CPU and should be fitted in slot 5 due to the processor bus board. It uses the Computer Interface Board (1030), Video Graphics Board (1420), and Program Module (1610-1) with Expanded Memory Boards in slots J4-J5 for up to 16MB of expanded memory.

Warranty Information

Our warranty terms are as follows: You get a one-year warranty for a brand-new Fadal 1400-5 CPU Board  All of the remanufactured units have a six-month warranty.
